Good morning! Back to Torquay for today’s photo – and another shot of Princess Gardens at dusk, on my recent sunset shoot. Hope you like it 🙂⠀ ⠀ This shot was taken with what’s called a ‘prime’ lens – that is one that has a fixed focal length (in this case 21mm. Although prime lenses don’t allow you the ability to zoom, they often have superior optics and are smaller and lighter than zoom lenses – perfect when you are walking a long way with your camera kit.⠀ ⠀ Want to learn how to take photos like these? Gracious Grooming… Part 2 – – In December I had the pleasure of spending the day at Gracious Grooming Dog Salon, capturing the hard and amazing work put into pampering these amazing dogs! @graciousgroomingsalon are a professional dog grooming service accommodating all breeds and individual needs. Based in Paignton, Devon, near the harbour. After seeing their work in action, and the happy, calm and amazingly treated dogs in the salon, it is easy to say that the quality at Gracious Grooming is outstanding. Here I am with my painting ‘Studio View’ at the SWAc 2019 Open Exhibition at Exeter Castle private view on the 14th Nov It was one of four paintings I had in the show.
