Featured Account: Mamma B’s
Mamma B’s is the brainchild of Teresa Braithwaite a mum of 3. A Stay n Play Crèche and Care Centre at present, it officially opened in October last year after a rather up and down start. Mamma B’s currently offers:

- Drop Off Crèche
- Beauty Therapies on Site
- Hair Salon on Site
- Messy Play
- Eat & Seat Area
Teresa has worked extremely hard to get it to where it is now and has a huge vision for it all and it is still very much work in progress. In order to progress ahead with the project Teresa met with Suzannah Jones earlier this year and they have now joined forces, with Suzannah also becoming a Director of Mamma B’s.
There will be lots of exciting things happening over the coming months as Mamma B’s Stay n Play Crèche & Care Centre is in the process of sourcing and securing funding to complete a new Music Studio, Drama Studio and Dance Studio in which the Community of Torbay will be able to utilise.
Mamma B’s is also excited to be in a position to develop a fully accessible Public Sensory Room. These facilities will be filling a much needed gap within the Town Centre of Torquay for all ages and abilities.
The centre will be a place for parents, especially mums, who are thinking of returning back to work to gain confidence and experience with the help of an onsite Hair Salon and Beauty Room.
It aims to be a ‘one stop shop’ for the all the family to enjoy and get something from.
