Art and Design Student Lee Clow has won a competition to design a Trust Membership recruitment poster.
Lee’s poster was chosen as the most eye-catching among entries from students at South Devon College.
His design will have pride of place on noticeboards at Torbay Hospital and other Trust locations in order to attract more members of the public to become Trust Members of Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. His poster is also on the Membership display board which is taken to events across Devon by the Membership group.
Lee was presented with a prize at a ceremony in the Trust’s Horizon Centre during an official Trust Membership Group meeting. Governors at the meeting were Lynne Hookings, Anna Pyror, Bob Bryant, Annie Hall, Barbara Inger and Mary Lewis.
Chair of the Membership Group, Lynne Hookings (Public Governor for Torbay constituency) said: “We are very grateful to Lee for his effort and creativity.
“He’s designed a great poster which looks very professional and we are confident it will do the job and generate more interest in membership of the Trust. Lee is obviously talented and we wish him well with his studies and career.
“We were very pleased with the number and quality of the entries from South Devon College and thank the staff and students for their support.”
Lynne added: “Members of the Trust play a vital role in representing the community we serve. Recruiting new members is part of this process and we can promise Lee his poster is very important and will be seen by hundreds of people every day.”
Lynne thanked Anna Pryor (Community Staff Governor) who had the initial idea to liaise with South Devon College.
