What’s it all about?

From the date of the last blog post you are probably wondering what the devil has been going on.  You would be forgiven for thinking we had fallen off the face of the earth, not quite.

Over the past few weeks we have had a mixture of illnesses, trips away and all kinds of goings on, which have caused a bit of a slow down in the updating of our blog.

We have continued to do the #BoostTorbay chat every Friday running from 8-9pm.  Thank you to all those whom have been getting involved each week.

On the 24th November we will also be unveiling our shiny new website, you can expect a lot more than just a website with a few pages about #BoostTorbay.  We’re not going to tell you too much, but you can expect to see all of our previous blog posts and more.

Featured Account – @Senseabilities

Our featured account this week has been new start-up business @Senseabilities.  A business looking to awaken the senses with a sensory room with a difference and that will be accessible to all.

So if you haven’t given this account a follow then please head over and give them one.

Next #BoostTorbay Live Chat up

We’ve been trying to get to the @ChelstonManor for our next #BoostTorbay chat, for sometime now.

No formalities required, just turn up and have a drink or 2 and chat with people whilst enjoying some light hearted tweets.

So make a date in your diary folks for Friday 25th November 2016 – Chelston Manor 8-9pm.

Look forward to seeing you all there.

What’s on

This week sees the all important Christmas light switch on.

There has been some pretty turbulent times surrounding whether the lights will go ahead and it is great to see that local radio station, The Breeze, has kindly agreed to help with the costs of erecting and switching on the lights.

It’s great to see and hear that Torquay won’t be without lights this Christmas and we are looking forward to seeing them being switched on, on Saturday the 19th November.

Further details can be found on the Breeze official website.

So there we have it, have a fantastic week and we will see you all next Sunday.
