Torbay Hospital holds recruitment open day

Anyone aged over 16 is invited to attend a recruitment open day at Torbay Hospital on Monday 17 June 2019.

People looking for a new challenge should come to the Horizon Centre at the Hospital from 1pm until 7pm to find out more about the opportunities available within Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust’s Facilities Department.

There is a wide range of permanent and bank roles available for people to apply for, including:

  • Hotel Services Assistants who clean wards and clinical areas to the National Cleaning Standards, who also deliver the food and drinks to the patients.
  • Portering staff for patient movement, transferral of notes, specimens etc
  • Specialist Deep Cleaners who clean after infection to ensure our hospital is a clean and safe environment for our patients. 
  • Facilities Assistants who encompass all the roles mentioned and work in our community hospitals.

There will be an opportunity to chat with the team about what it’s like to work for the Trust and learn more from managers about the roles and benefits on offer. There will also be the chance to talk to the Trust’s recruitment team to get some top tips on how to apply for the roles available.
