Rebecca Broad… Part 1 – – Working with @rebeccacomms was alot of fun at @generatorhub !! And few new techniques tried out, and also with the aim of matching her brand style of a general green overtone to the shots! 📸 – – Rebecca Broad is a Freelance Communicator helping people with their strategy and content creation. Client currently include South West Mutual, Vixen Labs, and Grow Exeter Magazine. She’s also a Trustee if Devon Wildlife Trust, and I can definitely recommend her services! She is incredibly hard working and dedicated to what she does 🙌 – – We used @generatorhub in Exeter! The space offered by them is a co-working office space, with permanent and daily drop-in workers from the local areas, all working on diverse industries all in one space! For the shoot we used the Town House building, but they also have a building based at Exeter Quay! Check out the location here: generatorhub.co.uk Thank you so much to them for allowing us to use their space 😊 – – #devonbusiness #torquay #torbay #torbaydos #torbaybusinessnetwork #boosttorbay #exeter #freelancelife #contentstrategy #coworking #community #exetercommunity

Next time you feel out of your depth in a room, just think ” Wow I’m learning from all these intelligent people!” I know that’s how I felt when I first started networking for my little ironing business back in the distant past of 2006! It’s good to remember that we can’t know everything in life and the best way to advance your business is to listen carefully to advice from those who have been there and done it. I never forget the advice I got from a Pensions Advisor (Paddy Kerwin) at a networking meeting, he told me to put my prices up and when people start walking away you know where your level is. I put them up and people didnt walk away! He made me realise the value of what I was offering and from that day I charged properly and continued to do so in subsequent businesses. Get advice from everywhere you can, you never know where that golden nugget of info will come from! #smallbusinessstartup #boosttorbay #socialmediahelp #adviceoftheday #learnfromthebest

It’s nearly time to climb into Ada & set off on our adventures again. It has been fab being back in Beautiful Brixham though, look how stunning it is! I took this on Saturday walking between @libertybrixham where we’d enjoyed cocktails & @ontherocksbrixham where as always, dinner was outstanding! The whole weeks been a whirlwind of social gatherings, we’ve definitely done our bit to support local businesses, it was great to try out the brand new @harbourlight.paignton which was seriously impressive & I adore the new look @theprincewilliambrixham It was also lovely & emotional in a totally good way, visiting @dillydallytearoom – Not sure how I’ve fitted in two hospital appts & planning a house move but I guess where there’s a will there’s a way. This morning began gloriously with a leisurely coffee & meet up with @astridiwantyouinmylife we met on here (as you do) & have been attempting to meet in person for ages. After a second meeting (business but with wine – the best kind) the afternoon turned decidedly stressful … the final big push of packing & moving belongings from Daddy Cools spare room to our storage unit. It was so stressful in fact that as @james_bower_ drove off in the van, I drove off to @therangeuk for some retail therapy to buy some cushions (always makes me feel better 🤷🏻‍♀️) then to the local pub for a pint of Jail Ale with Daddy Cool himself. I did make dinner & change the beds when I got home but now I’m sat in bed feeling absolutely shattered. Still determined to make the most of our last day tomorrow as we won’t be home again until the end of May but cannot wait to return to #vanlife … . . . #adventureseeker #travelmore #goexplore #wonderfulplaces #lovetotravel #adventurethatislife #roamtheplanet #blogsofinstagram #travelblogging #tblogger #thattravelblog #bloggerlife #bloggerslife #bloglife #travellifestyle #travelpreneur #nomadiclife #traveldeeper #traveleurope #travelstagram #brixham #englishriviera #devon #torbay #noplacelikehome
