Networking – avec une difference

LeClub-FBCoverIntroducing the people of Torbay and South Devon, to a new networking with a difference club which I think you are going to like!

Called Le Club Franglais…. I am hoping to bring a little “Je ne sais quoi” to the Bay!

  • Do you love the English Riviera?
  • Do you love things with a French Flavour?
  • Do you enjoy fine food, washed down with good wine and great company?
  • Are you looking to meet new people and add value to your social life?
  • Would you like to practice your French, just for fun, in an authentic environment?
  • Do you like the sound of Quiz events, wine tasting, and even playing petanque?

If you answered yes, or ‘oui’ to any of those, then this is for you! Keep reading….

The aim of Le Club Franglais is to bring together some of our wonderful people in the area. People from all backgrounds and all walks of life, to share their love of the English Riviera with a French twist!

Whether you speak fluent French, or not a word, there is something for everyone!

This isn’t just about speaking French! No, this is about appreciating the great food and wine, coffee, croissants and cafe culture… sharing business information, travel tips, recipes, and chatting about anything from books, music, to current affairs – it will evolve through the people who come along, so this is your chance to be a part of it from the start.

Le Club Franglais will run at The Bistrot Pierre in Torquay every Monday from 6pm and every Wednesday at 10am. The Bistrot Pierre is located in the new Abbey Sands complex with stunning views across Torbay. There will also be monthly speciality events so make sure you follow on Twitter at FranglaisClub and facebook at LeClubFranglais where I not only keep you updated with the latest club news, but also keep the conversations going online too.

Next  Monday, 9th February at 6pm will be the first get-together. If you cannot make Monday, come along on Wednesday at 10am. Or come to both! Everyone who comes along in the first week will get the chance to win a meal for two with wine at the Bistrot Pierre. Ca c’est bon.

Le Club Franglais is about having fun – and putting some joi de vivre and raison d’etre into your life!

You can email me, Helen, at [email protected] for more information or to get involved.
