Living Coasts Half Price Special Offer for Locals this Weekend

Living Coasts are holding their very first local discount weekend, and you’re invited.

Weekends in Torbay are loved and enjoy by holiday makers and locals a like.

This weekend there is another reason for you to enjoy the weekend.

Waddle or a paddle down to Living Coasts this weekend for their better than half price special entry price.

This discount is exclusive to residents in the TQ and EX postcodes.

Better than half price

A brand new and special entry rate has been introduced, for this weekend, for anyone who is living in either a TQ or EX postcode.

Living Coasts is very popular with tourists.  However they want to get local people involved, especially those who have not yet been to Living Coasts for a while, to drop in and explore what’s new.

Living Coasts is home to fur seals and many other species

This is your perfect opportunity to get a sneak preview of Living Coasts before the major tourist season starts.

Living coasts, Get your tickets

At the gates you can expect to save 50%.

However if you book online the saving is even higher.  In order to claim your special entry ticket you’re going to need to bring with you a recent utility bill that includes your home address.

The locals discount offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer.

A spokesperson for Living Coasts, Phil Knowling said:

We’ve been here for 15 years now. Lots of local people visited early on but may not have been back that often since. They know our distinctive aviary net on the harbourside and probably think Living Coasts hasn’t changed much, but it has. There are all sorts of tropical fish, seahorses, octopus, stingrays. There are new murals and new displays and new play areas. This is our way of inviting people back in to see how we’re getting on.
It’s great when people recommend an attraction to visitors – taxi drivers, bus drivers, shop keepers, hotel workers, they are all important for word-of-mouth. We’d love people to come to Living Coasts so they know who and what we are and why holidaymakers should visit us.
I think the weekend will also remind people that, with Living Coasts being right on the water’s edge, the café and terrace are great places to watch the Torbay air show and all the events that take place on the Bay. There will be a new spring menu with chef’s salads alongside the traditional fish and chips and light lunches. The café is licensed, which means you can enjoy a cold beer while taking in the best views of the Bay! I wouldn’t be surprised if more people decide to take advantage of our annual passholder scheme after this weekend.

Home to a colony of penguins

Living Coasts opened in June 2003.

The charity attraction is home to a large colony of free-ranging penguins as well as fur seals, wading birds, otters, auks and aquarium species .

At Living Coasts you can expect play areas, underwater viewing, windows and a cafe with stunning views across the bay.

Living Coasts, Paignton Zoo and Newquay zone are owned, operated and maintained by the Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust.
