How to grow your Twitter reach with #BoostTorbay?

What else would a 30 something be doing at 00:41 on a Friday night?  Having a quiet, or not so quiet drink in Visto Lounge or potentially Las Iguanas perhaps.

Nope, not me, I’m sat at my desk reflecting on the BoostTorbay chat which, and I’m sure I say it every week, was our best chat to date.

In April, when I first launched the #BoostTorbay chat, our tweets gained 2,000-4,000 impressions.

Last night’s chat saw our impressions reached between 7,000-8,000 so a massive thank you to everyone that takes part in the chats each week.

Our Website

If you’re reading this, then you already know it’s live.

Our website has been developed to include a fancy business directory, enabling all businesses to have their very own BoostTorbay page and for that page to be promoted throughout the week, for absolutely free.

We have also added in a nice What’s On section, the perfect location for you to list your events as well as annual events running throughout Torbay.

Our website has made a promising start in terms of traffic, but we have a lot of work to do, so keep an eye on the website for further developments.

BoostTorbay Wine ‘n’ Shine Night

We’re sure you’ve seen the news from our sister website that we’ll be running another evening event.

This time it comes in the form of the #BoostTorbay Wine ‘n’ Shine Networking Night.

The night will consist of presentations from Kim Thornton of the Torbay Development Agency and Helen Brenton, Sales & Marketing Specialist.

There will also be informal networking and speed networking opportunities as well as free food and wine.

Grab your BoostTorbay Wine ‘n’ Shine Networking Night tickets.

Think I have just about remembered everything.

All that’s left for me to say is have a fantastic weekend and we’re sure we will tweet you during the week.

The main way to increase your reach on Twitter is to use the #BoostTorbay tag in your tweets, we’ll see it and of course Re-Tweet you.
