Reaching Torbay this Christmas is now even easier than ever before.  Whether you’re travelling by road, train or by bus, there are plenty of ways in which you can kick start your festive holiday or weekend.

By Road

Getting to Torbay now is easier than ever, keep heading South from the M5, onto the A380 all the way down onto the newly built South Devon Highway.

Follow the signs to Torquay and you’re right into the heart of the town centre.

An easier and faster route to reach the start of your festive celebrations by the sea.

Parking

Across the county, there over 7,500 pay and display spaces, making it easier for you to head to the shops, or go for that bite to eat.

By Train

With 3 main train stations located within the main boundaries of Torbay.  Paignton is the end of the line but provides the main links to most of major UK cities.  Reaching either Torre, Torquay or Paignton via train will take you around 3 hours from Birmingham New Street or London Paddington.

Torquay’s train station is located around 10/15 minutes away from Fleet Street (the main shopping centre) and 5 minutes from the beach.

Paignton’s train station is in the very heart of the town centre, and around 10 minute walk to the beach.

In both Torquay and Paignton, Great Western Railway and Virgin all provide frequent services to and from Torquay or Paignton.

By Bus

Stagecoach South West provides the most frequent services throughout Torbay.  Torbay features one park and ride which is located in Brixham and will drop you straight into the town centre of Brixham.

Bus services operate regularly with the Hop 12 service connecting you from Torquay all the way through to Brixham.

Park and Ride Ticket Prices

£6 per car which includes return tickets to and from Brixham.

Day Rider: £5.00 for an adult and £3.50 per child (a day of unlimited travel across Torbay)
