Busy, Busy

If you’re reading this, first of all, I’d like to say thank you for taking the time to read it, if you’re not reading this, then you’re probably doing something far more interesting, like watching paint dry.

Firstly, we’ve just had another very busy and productive #BoostTorbay chat.  It’s great to see so many people, regulars, and newbies getting involved.  Networking, socialising, promoting or just generally taking part in the chat.

The whole point of the #BoostTorbay chat is that it isn’t a formal networking event, you don’t have to stay for the entire length of time it’s running, normally an hour, and more importantly, the time you spend on the chat is entirely your own.

This week, and well done to those who did notice it, we’ve changed how we decide our featured account for the week.  Previously we asked you to tweet us and we’ll then go to the first person who tweets us.  Now we’re changing this to a more random and complex selection, it involves us telling you if you’re our featured account for the week.

Featured Account – OsborneClub

This week featured account are the amazing people over at the Osborne Apartments.

The Osborne Apartments in Torquay provide you with your very own room with a view! Luxury Apartment complex in regency sea-view setting on Meadfoot Beach, Torquay, Devon – for holidays and vacation ownership.

We highly recommend you give the Osborne Apartments a follow if you are thinking of coming down to Torbay for a holiday.

So we’ve redone our featured account, our next set of news is our new website.

A massive thank you needs to go to the talented guys at @EthreeDigital who are working tirelessly to put together a website for us, we are looking to move over to our new website at the beginning of April 2017.  I’ve been working on the website for some time now ensuring that it can do what I want it to do, and I’m probably biased but it is looking amazing and will help serve as a base for the #BoostTorbay brand to build upon over the next 5 years.

Finally, a big thank you to all 7, 958+ of you for giving us a follow, getting involved in the #BoostTorbay chat and for reading this blog.  Without you guys doing all of this we would not be here.

Until next week, have an awesome weekend and a productive week.
