But which networking event should you attend, how much does it cost and when do they start?
Luckily we’ve put together a short list of some of the business networks currently ongoing around the Torquay, Paignton and Brixham areas.

Business Networks in Torquay
BNI Locomotive Chapter:- Meets every Tuesday, from 06:45 – 08:30, of every month at the Grand Hotel. Cost is £10 and people can book via EventBrite to come along to one of the meetings. Breakfast is included
BNI Riviera Chapter:- Meets every Wednesday, from 07:00 – 09:00, of every month at the Grand Hotel. Cost is available upon requesting to come along to one of the meetings. Breakfast is included
Torbay Business Forum:- Meets on the 1st Tuesday, from 07:30-09:00, of every month at the Riviera Centre at a cost of £12.50 per head. Further details available on their website. Breakfast included
Torquay Chamber of Commerce:– Events coming Soon.
Torbay Business Network:– Meets on the last Friday, from 0700-0930, of every month at the Pier Point Restaurant at a cost of £10 per head. Breakfast is included. Further details available on their website.
Torquay United’s Exclusive Breakfast Club:- Meets every 6-8 weeks, arriving at 09:00 for a beautifully cooked and tasty breakfast followed by an opportunity for you to stand up and pitch your business to the room, not compulsory. You are then welcome to stay for a bit longer and network with the other attendees in a friendly and helpful environment. Hosted at Torquay United Football Club
LinkedIn Local:- You’ve connected on LinkedIn now meet your connections face to face. Running bi-monthly at the prestigious Pier Point Bar, Restaurant. LinkedIn Local is free but you will need to pay for a drink or 2.
Your Partnerships – Torbay & Teignbridge:- Hosting a variety of networking events, business lunches and evening events. There is a business networking event for everyone across Torbay. Recommend you checkout their website for the most recent networking events.
Torquay Online:- Torquay Online has a group of businesses called the Bay to Z. over 100 local business owners who meet up, help each other out and come up with lots of different innovative ways to help each other find work. You will need to join their Facebook Group to be able to view dates, and venues for their networking events.
Business Networks in Paignton
Paignton Chamber and District of Commerce:– Meets on the 2nd Thursday, from 07:30 – 09:00, of every month at a different business venue each month. The cost is £7.50 per head and venue depending will depend on the breakfast menu. Further details available on their Facebook page.
