Austen Apartments are situated approx 200 meters walk from the sandy beach and promenade of Torquay. From here you can enjoy a short walk to Torquay Harbour. There are many boat excursions to choose from which include different day trips along the Devon coast to many destinations, including the short trip over to historic Brixham, along with fishing trips and wildlife spotting where you can enjoy the views of Torbay along the way.
There are many activity's in Torquay for all ages and all within walking distance from the apartments such as The Riviera International Conference Centre / Leisure Centre with swimming, slides, spa, gym and racket sports along with many fitness classes, The Princess Theatre, a casino and cinema. The town center is approx a ten minute walk where there is great shopping, bars, night life and restaurants which also have great views across the bay.
As well as the many beautiful beaches along and around the bay there are endless attractions and places to visit that are all a short drive away.

We have eight spacious well appointed guest rooms, our five doubles and twin rooms are all en suite and our two single rooms share a bathroom and separate toilet on the same floor. All our guest rooms have wide-screen, digital Freeview television, Wi-Fi, tea/coffee-making facilities, toiletries, fluffy towels and hairdryer. We have a car park at the rear of the property.
Breakfast is served in our pleasant , sunny dinning room where we use local produce for our English Breakfast. We cater for Vegans, Vegetarians and those on a gluten or diary free diet when informed of at the time of booking.
Torquay's iconic palm trees, busy harbour and international marina could fool you into thinking you were on the Mediterranean. Enjoy long leisurely walks along the pier and promenade and take in the relaxed atmosphere. Torquay has a packed, year-round programme of top shows at the Princess Theatre, or a huge choice of festivals and events, no matter when you come and visit us, you’re bound to find something exciting to do.
