Torquay Ice Fest

26th May 2018 - 3rd June 2018

£5.00

Head down to Kents Cavern this half term for some cool Geopark Festival inspired fun in the from of the Torquay Ice fest.

Learn all about the last Ice Age and some of the amazing animals/beasts that lived during this freezing time.

Running throughout half term, the Torquay Ice Fest, has a range of activities on offer including:

  • Ice Age Animal Hunt – find out about all the animals that stalked our woodland areas
  • Cave Trail – learn all about the animals that lived during the Ice Age and which animals lived during warmer periods
  • Shelter Making – work together to help create a communal shelter in the woods
  • Spear Throwing – learn to hunt like a Neanderthal in our dedicated spear section
  • Stone Age Pendant – create and make your very own Stone Age necklace
  • Stone Age Trail

And a whole lot more.

Some of the actives may have a small additional charge applied to them.

If that wasn’t enough book yourselves onto one of the activity sessions and learn how prehistoric people survived in the coldest of conditions.

You can even learn how to make fire using different tools and techniques.

Each session is limited to 10 children per session.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The activities are suitable for children aged 6-12 years.

Further details can be found on the official Kents Cavern website.
