Paignton Lions Club Walk into the Sea

Nothing beats Boxing day quite like a gentle walk into the sea to help raise some much need funds for local good causes.  The Paignton Lions Club Walk into the sea takes place every year at 12 mid-day.

Each year more and more budding fundraisers don their favourite Christmas gear and head to Paignton beach and at the starter’s command walk into the chilly waters of the English Channel where fun and frivolity begin.

This event is popular with both visitors and residents alike and draws a bigger crowd every year.

This event is a sponsored Walk into the Sea with participants being able to allocate5 50% of their sponsorship money to a Charity/Cause of their choosing with the remainder being donated to charities chosen by the Paignton’s Lion Club.

If you wish to take part but sponsorship is not your thing, then the club asks for a pre-registration fee of £10pp for adults and £5 for those under 16s.
