South Devon College are hosting a range of fun, hands-on one-day ‘Tech Tasters’ as part of the Digital Momentum programme. These taster days aim to introduce participants to exciting technical concepts and fun practical skills; sparking interest and confidence to pursue further learning.

The Introduction to Coding workshop will be an introduction to coding principles and computational thinking. With introductions to languages such as Python, C++ and JavaScript.

What is Digital Momentum?

Digital Momentum is a Digital Skills Programme offering free digital skills training primarily to women and other under-represented groups in the digital sector across Somerset, Devon, Torbay and Plymouth.

The programme aims to support people to unlock their next stage of digital learning and digital career development.

The Digital Momentum programme is a Heart of the South West Digital Skills Partnership pilot programme funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Digital Skills Innovation Fund. To find out more visit:
