When it comes to food, we’re all often more concerned about filling our hungry tummys than we are about where the food comes from.
Head up to Occombe Farm, Paignton this half term for their Farm2Fork day.
The whole day promises to be fun filled farm learning with the focus on being where our food comes from and what makes an organic farm so special for wildlife.
Try your hand at baking in the kitchen, feeding the farm animals to tips on how to grow your own vegetables in the garden and getting involved in wildlife projects.
The event ran daily from 10am – 4pm at Occombe Farm and is suitable for children aged 8-13 years old.
Tickets are just £34.00 and can be booked and paid for in advance of the event.
If you wish your children can be left unattended.
All events are bookable and are payable in advanced and are non-refundable except upon cancellation of the event.
Occombe Farm is cared for by the people at the Torbay Coast and Country Side Trust, Torbay’s independent conservation charity.
All proceeds from the event supports the care of special places in and around Torbay.
These places include Occombe Farm, Berry Head, Brixham and Cockington Country Park, Torquay.
