An event not to be missed, as Cockington Court becomes awash with all things apple.
The reason, Cockington’s Apple Day celebration.
So bring your wellies and taste a variety of locally sourced food and drink.
Cockington Court Apple Day promises activities for all the family including creative crafts to apple themed challenges and games.
All the while you will be amazed by children’s entertainers and cooking demonstrations.
Prefer to listen to some live music? Checkout the live music stage with performances from local bands.
The stage is sponsored by the great guys and local brewers Bays Brewery.
A few of this years bands include Molly, Mike Lumb, Guy Stockwell, Matt Sellors, New Daze and more.
Not only is the Cockington Court Apple Day event completely free, but so is getting there.
Back by popular demand, the free bus service leaving The Strand, Torquay and running every 30 minutes from the 11am on Sunday 14th October.
Over 30 stalls are expected as well as great entertainment lined up including Punch and Judy, a timeless classic for all ages and vintage fair rides (weather allowing).
Feeling the cold? Grab yourself some hot food to give yourself a warm, or enjoy a cider, beer, gin or Pimms for the adults and parents.
This year is a particularly special year for Cockington Court Apple Day with the event being its 25th Anniversary.
So in memory of the founder, Brian Carter, we welcome the granddaughter from the Cactus Kitchen.
Whilst the main and extra activities will be taking in and around Cockington Court, ensure you visit the craft makers in the studios who will be showing their creative skills.
Skillsets include glassblowing, blacksmiths and chocolatiers.
