When he finds out he’s been duped, he turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another murderess, Velma Kelly, compete for the spotlight and the headlines with the help of Billy Flynn, the slickest lawyer in town. Roxie and Velma ultimately join forces in search of the “American Dream”.
