Lovers of 1980s music are in for a rare treat as Torquay Museum hosts a lively evening of hits, during which guests will be transported back to one the most iconic decades ever.
With a fantastic night of retro music, prizes for the best dressed 80’s look, and even a special guest appearance from talented local actor Jonty Depp as Doc Brown from the classic 1985 film Back to the Future.
Hosted in a venue with a difference, the atmospheric Torquay Museum, which boasts a large dance floor, this evening of retro music will feature a DJ playing loads of 80’s classics, music video projections, and licensed bar serving beer, wine, cocktails, and snacks.
Guests are encouraged to dig deep into the wardrobes of their youth and dress the part, inspired by the unmistakeable fashions of the 80s, from big hair, spandex, ripped jeans and leg warmers, to the more elaborate New Romantic look that defined the decade.
Back to the 80s Night is a collaboration between Torquay Museum and award-winning Film Producer and DJ John Tomkins – a massive 80’s music fan who is excited to share this evening with fellow fans, transporting them back to this iconic music era.
Spaces are limited so 80’s fans are strongly advised to book their tickets in advance by contacting Torquay Museum on 01803 293975, or online via Eventbrite. Tickets are £7 each in advance, or £9 on the door.
